Our trained staff will be there to guide you every step of the way and liaise on your behalf with all appropriate people and organisations to ensure your requirements are carried out with excellence. Our service, depending on your individual needs includes:
- Trained staff to give confidential advice and guidance
- A Funeral Consultant and staff to assist at the funeral
- Preparing and inserting notices in the press
- Liaison with clergy/celebrant
- Selection from a range of coffins and caskets
- Completion of all appropriate documents and certificates
- Order and delivery of flowers for the family tribute
- A hearse and other vehicles as required
- A memorial book for recording those in attendance
- Facilitating bereavement counselling and referral services - see Bethel Care Ministries
- Births, Deaths & Marriages registration and order of the death certificate
- Liaise with clubs, membership affiliations and service providers
- Notification to Centrelink or Department of Veterans’ Affairs

Bethel’s involvement with a family does not immediately cease at the completion of a funeral. We recognise that, following a funeral, adjustments may need to be made and that this can sometimes be difficult. Through Bethel Care Ministries, we are able to guide you as you adjust to the loss of your loved one and journey through your grief.
Each family will receive a Care Ministries brochure at the time of the funeral, with some helpful information and our contact details.
Our network is extensive, allowing us the resources to guide you and your family in the right direction for your particular needs. Our Care Ministries team is available to talk with you or pray with you. We will listen, support and assist you to clarify options and choices for yourself. At your request, we can also facilitate prayer ministry, professional counselling or other support services.
