Bethel Funerals recognises that grief is not limited to a set timeframe and can often have greater impact months after the funeral. Bethel Care Ministries can help guide you through the journey of grief as you adjust to your loss. We bring an unparalleled empathy and a hope-filled perspective.
We understand that although you may have family and friends around you, sometimes you may just need someone else.
Our Care Ministries team is available to talk and pray with you. We will listen, support and assist you to find the options and choices available. Our networks are extensive, allowing us to guide you and your family to the right people and resources that will meet your specific needs. At your request, we can also facilitate prayer ministry, professional counselling or other support services.
Our Care Ministries team will contact you after the funeral to talk about the level of care and support that’s right for you. If you would like to talk to someone about managing the grief journey, contact Bethel Care Ministries on 03 9873 0001.
Professional Counselling
Professional counselling can be invaluable to guide you towards acceptance and healing.
Bethel Care Ministries, in partnership with Crossway Counselling, offers experienced and qualified counsellors with a variety of strengths to cater to both adults and children with different needs. With our support, prayer and guidance you will be able to find a new strength within yourself, learn how to accept the things you cannot change and take control of the things you can.
We offer you the resources to help you and your family for your particular needs as you adjust to your loss. We are here to listen, support and guide you through this time.
Counselling sessions can be held by appointment at Bethel in Mitcham or at the Crossway Counselling Centre in Burwood East. Contact (03) 9886 3899 to arrange a time.
