Thanks Greg for letting us know of Doug's passing, Deepest Sympathy to Bev and family. Love and prayers to you all . Graham & Lyn.

Our deepest sympathy to the family

Doug - What a beautiful man, so gentlemanly, kind and a pleasure to know. We enjoyed him sharing his experiences and knowledge, and will miss his lovely, kind face. We pray the Lord will envelope you all with His peace and comfort, and help you focus on the many joys and blessings. Much love from the Shaws xx

We remember Doug as a quiet, friendly man, with a very caring nature. Thinking of you all with love and prayers.

Forever in my memory for your kind heart and caring nature. So many fond memories with you, especially during my school holidays spending time with you and Aunty Bev at Woodgate and Maryborough. Farewell Uncle Doug. Love always Kate

One of the many things Dad enjoyed in his retirement years was his ‘heritage bananas’. The audio attached is an excerpt from a live broadcast ABC radio performed at Benson’s school in 2012. Anyone who visited Mum & Dad’s place in Maryborough and especially Aspley will appreciate what Dad had to say about his bananas. We have loved eating and sharing many of his bananas and have several growing ourselves. It is so great to have this living memory. Love you Dad (Pop)

Bev. We would like to express our sincere condolences to you and your family at this time of sadness. Even though we can not be with you in person today, we will be in our thoughts and prayers. Allan, Wendy, Chantal and Michael Kay Mackay

Doug, you are one in a million, and your positivity is inspiring. What a pleasure to know you, thinking of you all this afternoon. Love to Bev and family. Greg

Doug, we all have our special patients and you were certainly one of them. You were always gracious and had a smile on your face for your nurses. One of your nurses loved you so much that she even brought in some of your favourite dark chocolate when your appetite was poor. You are remembered fondly. Condolences to your family and friends who will no doubt miss you terribly.
