God Bless all of you. Lots of love and Blessings Dunstan, Renuka and Nathan Fernando
There can be nothing that anyone can say that would relieve the burden of grief that you would be feeling at this time. There will be times when it seems you are 'overcoming' and then it will sneak up on you again. And that is right. The Word does not say that we would not grieve but that we would not grieve as those who have no hope. The tributes that you each one, Stephan, Garrett, Arielle and Skylar shared today were an amazing testimony to a life well lived for the Lord and she would be proud to have heard what you all said. Please just be aware of our love for you all and our prayers for you now and into the future. Love David and Viv
Dearest Stefan and family My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. We raise you up in prayer before the Lord that you may know His peace which surpasses our understanding.
My heart is in Australia today as you remember Jenn. Praying for strength, comfort and God's peace throughout the coming weeks and months and years as, no doubt, you will feel her absence. Remembering her soft spirit, beautiful smile and genuine love for others with you as you say your final good-bye's. Thanking God for his mercy on her life and His comfort of music and praises you were able to share with her as she ran to her Heavenly Father's arms. Love you all!
Dear Garrett, Arielle, Skylar and Stephan, I remember Jennifer with fondness in our interactions at school and church. She's left a tremendous legacy seen in you kids. Your tributes to her makes her proud, as it touched and inspired many of our hearts also to be better. I hope the following Psalm 84 will strengthen you as it did for me, and as we look forward to standing altogether till each one of us appear before our God in Zion. Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, Whose heart is set on pilgrimage. 6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca, They make it a spring; The rain also covers it with pools. 7 They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion..
Dear Stephan, Garrett, Arielle and Skylar, We wanted to pay our respects after the service last Tuesday. The the large number of people it was too hot and stuffy. Please accept our sympathy. May the Lord surround you with an extra measure of His love and peace and you move into the future without Jennifer. Shalom!
Dear Stephan & Family. Our sincerest condolences on Jen's passing. Your beautiful tributes at her celebration service made me feel as if I knew Jen, even though I had never met her. May the Lord comfort you in this difficult time and may you find solace in knowing that Jen impacted many lives, and now rests in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Please be assured of our continued prayers for you and your extended family.
I had the pleasure and privilege of being taught by Mr Munyard for Indonesian and science throughout high school. This also meant in year 10 when I signed up to go on the Indonesian tour to Bali I got to spend two weeks with Stephen, Jen and Skylar who was 2 years old at the time . The small number of the group (4 students total, the munyards and Mrs Pleiter) meant this school trip felt much more like a family holiday! I had so much fun exploring Bali. I got to see first hand how kind, fun, funny and generous both Jen and Stephan were. We had lemonade at swim up bars in the amazing hotels, rode bikes through villages and went down water slides at Kuta. Walking along a beach one day in Kuta they told me how whenever they bathed their kids they sang a remix of the back street boys song “wash your body”. I thought this was so funny and often sang this randomly ever since. My daughter Lily was born on the 4th of october this year- 7 weeks ago, I didn’t know until the funeral that this was jens birthday, my husband and I sing “wash your body” to her every time we bath her. A small thing I know but one tiny ripple of Jens personality and amazing parenting that has stayed with me almost a decade later. My heart goes out to you all, this is so so horrendously unfair but I so admire your faith and strength. Not sure if you are still in the Berwick area but I’m at home a lot now with Lily so if you need any help with driving the kids places or groceries etc please let me know. My number is 0401 076 403 but no pressure. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
It has taken me some time to write anything at all. As the oldest of the cousins and the only male I was typically out number and out voted by my three female cousins and my sister. Mostly I saw Jennifer about once every four years when her parents returned from the mission field. I was blessed to be able to attend her wedding. Life moves at such a fast rate. Jennifer you will be missed, but you are now with all the grandparents and the Lord Jesus! Our prayers go out to all the family during this time of grief.
