Maggie, Michael and Davyd Our thoughts are with you at this time. You will have many fond memories of Mal that will give you strength. He will be dearly missed but never forget the good times. I remember the Harley Davidson rides down the Coast and the broad smile he had when with that bike. Good times and a message to follow your passion and live life to the fullest.

Thinking of you all in these hard times, Mal was a good man and will be missed. I'll remember him always for his sense of humour, and the care and love he showed me as a young girl. I'll never forget the first time he rolled up on your front lawn Maggie, dressed in his Police uniform on his beloved Harley. Mal has always been larger than life, and that's how I will always remember him. Will miss the big man xoxo

Maggie, we are thinking of you and the family at this sad time. Mal has left us all with some wonderful memories. He was a wonderful friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

Hi Mal, well what a journey hey? There were ups and downs like everyone but I know you embraced them all with that same belly laugh I remember. Haven't seen you up close for many years. And how those years have flown. We turn around and before we know it someone else is looking back at us from the mirror. I have been watching your journey through Michael's posts so know you were having a bumpy ride but always saw the smile still on your face. BIG hugs to those who love you and are left to face the next part of their journey without you. As always the people I have known do have a place in my heart I remember the funny nights sitting in your back yard, seem like a million years ago, but it was just a blink of the eye. My love to you all xx Jenny and I am sure Pete says the same.

Hi there Maggie, Michael & Davyd Bergen and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Mal’s passing. We both have many fond memories of Mal, how his face lighted up when he smiled and his unforgettable. belly laugh, I can hear it right . now. We recall spending a number of Christmas days with you, Mal as Father Christmas. Well, Mal was born for this role as he created a sense of anticipation and excitement in the children as he handed out presents. It was a joy to see. Maggie, I sense that Mal is not too far away from you now

Love you forever
