It was indeed sad to hear of Michael's death. My very best wishes to you, Rita, for the years ahead. A surprise to receive Caroline's 'phone call last night.
We send our deepest sympathy and love to you Rita and family on the sad passing of Michael. We have many wonderful memories of our chats and laughter with him during his time at Hazeldene, when we visited Mum every day. Such a courageous and strong man, now at peace.
I have fond fond memories of Michael, especially the visit to England after my Dad had permanently lost his voice following a stroke and Michael was communicating via a voice box. Neither of them allowed it to spoil a moment. Sending love to Rita and all her family who, I know, will help each other through this difficult time.
My Best Man. Although we are miles away, you are always in our hearts. The memories we share are everlasting. Our thoughts are with you Always but especially on Monday Garth, Sue, Emma and Mandy x
Michael at 6 months old.
My family and I had a wonderful holiday in Australia in 2003 and were able to visit Alison's home while Michael and Rita were there. Michael kept us entertained with a multitude of jokes stored on his voice synthesiser which he had road tested on his carers. I wish I could recall them now! We had a wonderful evening and made lovely memories. Thank you.
Thinking of you all but especially Rita. Love Robyn.
Goodbye Michael after your long battle. You were one of nature's true gentlemen. It was such a pleasure to work with you in our engineering careers. My thoughts and prayers are with Rita who was a rock-solid support alongside Michael and his suffering and made enormous sacrifices for him for many, many years. For you Rita there is the certainty that Michael has been given a special place in the Kingdom.
What a brave man to bear such a heavy load for such a long time, admirably by a loving family. Deepest Sympathy

We wish to send all our condolences to Rita and all the family. We remember Michael the last time he came to England and we went to Hagley Country Club, with Tony and Barbara, Ann and Brian, Janet and John and Millicent. We had a great time and you will always be in our thoughts.
