Dear Steve, Raina and family, I taught with Sue at Healesville High. I will remember her laugh, joy, energy, tenacity and love of dancing. The relentless optimism. Those jazz hands in photographs! The big smile. We shared many moments of teaching and life - the good and bad. We also shared faith conversations and share a love of Jesus. I imagine her dancing in heaven with Jesus; she will find new moves, and be waiting for a far-off day when she will again dance with her loved ones. Then, I will dance with her too! May Jesus be your rock through this time of trial. May you find God's peace, hope and love in every day. xxx

Dearest Steve, Raina Grace and family, Sending our deepest sympathy at this very difficult time. Sue was an inspiration to all of us, her strength, spirit and grace in the face of adversity were, and will continue to be, nothing short of awe inspiring. I was thinking of Sue today as I drove to pick Mackenzie up from school today and the phrase " Faith, Hope & Love "came to my mind, then on the horizon I saw the most beautiful rainbow! A symbol of hope to Noah during The Flood, I took this as a little sign, that there is always hope. Sue packed so much into the very short time she had to be a Guiding Light for Women with Ovarian cancer, her legacy will live on,. All our love, Katie, Kris & Mackenzie xxx

Inspirational Sue R.I.P <3<3

Steve, Raina & family , Thinking of you all at this difficult time, love to all. Faith, Hope & Love xx

Your were such an inspiration to me and my family's your were absolutely amazing. You were such a fighter. I am so sorry this happened to you... Always & forever will be in my heart xx

A beautiful lady who gave so much to the community with her wonderful Walk With Me campaign. A total honour to know you, chat with you and walk along side you, Sue. You will always have a strong place in my heart as I am all the better for knowing you x x

Deepest sympathy to Steve, Raina & family. Sending all our love <3?

Twice, when I thought I could not take another step, you were there! First at Launching Place when my feet were shredded and I was done. Your beautiful smile lifted me up when it should have been me helping you. Then this February thoughts of your beautiful smile and your heart as big as Pharlap dragged over the finish line! You must know, we walked that 42kms for you Sue! But in true Sue style, we all knew, YOU were walking for all that came before you and all those who will came after you even when your battle was over. You were an inspiration to my daughter at Healesville High "Miss Tanner" I will always love you for that!! And then an absolute inspiration to me over the last couple of years "Sue Contarino". Your life was cut short but you've absolutely left your mark. Your kind, gentle, ultra positive nature has touched the lives of so many. Murph, Taylor, Darcy and myself will be walking in 2018 and every year after that, as long our legs will carry us. We will do this to raise awareness, funds and more importantly to honour the woman who inspired us. Rest in peace beautiful girl <3?

We send our deepest sympathy to you Steve, Raina and all of Sue's family. Sue was an amazing woman who packed a lifetime of experiences into such a short life. God bless you all and may Sue now rest in peace. xox

Miss Tanner (as I knew her) was an amazing teacher who helped me through high school. I worked with her in a number of charity events we ran at school. She was an inspiration, lovely, happy, cheerful, unique and beautiful, there are to many words to use to describe her. Most of all she was an important part of my life and many others; she made the world a better place for the sadly short time she was on this world. She will be sadly missed and never forgotten, her legacy will live on for many, many years. Forever in my heart Miss Tanner, love always and forever Katie, Will, Sue and family

Sue, there is not enough words to describe my feelings and love, when I think of you. I see your smile, your beautiful blues eyes radiate a room. Your wise words and empathy to enable another to feel safe and secure. Your love, compassion and kindness inspire so many. Your nature and patience, would bring about a calmness. Your knowledge and emotional understanding, educated us all to be better people and encouraged so many, to aspire to be all that they dreamed. Your passion and determination taught us to be strong, to stand tall for what you believe in and to be true. Your faith, hope and love in all facets of life, has enlightened us all to believe, to value and be grateful and to never give up. Your courage and strength showed us all what a real super hero looks like. Your love and care for others was felt by all, your innate way of making people feel loved and cherished. Sue, you are one in a million. We are all going to miss you, so much I will always have this piece of my heart that will smile, whenever I think of you <3? Love you Until we meet again xx Ceri, David, Gabrielle, Olivia, Adam & Tom xxx

Sincere condolences to Steve and your family. Sue was such a warm friendly soul. Her courage was an inspiration. The love you shared as a family was something for all to aspire to. My thoughts are with you.

Steve and Raina, we hope and pray that you are sustained in this time of sorrow and brokenness. We are heartbroken with you. Sue's beauty and tenacity shone from her. While we only knew her a short time we saw the love she has for you both, one that we hope will carry you through this time. I have found comfort in this verse: "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit" Psalm 34:18.

Dear Steve and Raina (and your Families', especially Sue's), Finally the Pain has stopped for Sue, but the Healing Process has only begun for you all. Remember when your sad, how strong she was till the end, remember when your lonely, she is always watching over you, remember when you want to give up, that she never stopped fighting, remember when you are angry, that she had so much love that to forgive is more powerful. But most of all Remember that she choose you to be part of her Life, to be her Mother, Father, Siblings, Wife, Daughter, and Friends or even an Acquaintance. Sue's wonderful Smile and Infectious Hands', and her departing catch phrase of "Faith, Hope & Love" be the Memory that reminds you of all the amazing things she did here on earth in this realm. Her awareness to Ovarian Cancer by starting up "Walk with Me" would not have come about if she had not suffered, but during her battle she never stopped believing in Faith, Hoping or Loving. That is how I will remember her, in Happier times. Love Penny, Madysen and Mitchell ISON.

To Steve, Raina and family - Today and always, may loving memories bring you peace, comfort and strength. Sue was a amazing, passionate and inspirational woman that will forever be in my heart.

To Steve, Words are never enough at this sad time but we would just like you to know how saddened we are that you have lost your wife, partner and soulmate. To Raina you had the most beautiful mother and we know that you will miss her dearly. Sue had such a kind heart and a beautiful smile, we knew she fought so hard in the hope she could beat this terrible disease and worked tirelessly in an effort to to bring more awareness to ovarian cancer and along the way raising much needed funds for research. She has been an inspiration and a wonderful role model. We were priviledged to have known her as a friend. God bless you Sue.

Sue lives on in the hearts of those who love her x

Dear Steve, Raina and extended family and friends We were deeply sorry to hear of Sue's passing, and so sad we can't be in Australia for the funeral and burial. I met Sue when we were teenagers, and attended the same Youth Group. She is, of course, an unforgettable person, and I remember very clearly lots of fun times we had. Having been overseas and out of the loop for some time (myself, that is), I had lost touch with her, but was delighted when she reconnected a couple of years ago. It was lovely catching up with her, and swapping adoption stories. I have since followed her progress, her 'Walk with Me' campaign and her journey with Raina with much interest and awe - she is a remarkable person with tremendous courage and spirit. While I know she is now pain-free and safe in our Father's arms, I grieve deeply for your loss, and pray that the time ahead of you is filled with strong support, positive memories and that you continue to build on the strong foundation she left. All our love for tomorrow and for the future. Love Marita (and Jaz), Uganda

To our beautiful friends Steve and Raina, their family and Sue's family, we are brought together through love and children and a blessing beyond words. Forever in our hearts Sue, and always in our lives. You have made the world a better place in so many wonderful ways, rest now beautiful lady we love you. we will always look to the sky and smile as we know your beautiful eyes will be upon us, and your love will live on and on. God Bless love Emma , Mark Birnny and Lotti XXX

Such a beautiful and inspirational woman. A great example and loving mother, wife and friend to many. She will be sadly missed but is resting with the Lord.

Sue, how do you leave a condolence message for you who loved Steve Raina, loved llive, loved people, and mostly inspired all of us to love and live life to the fullest in the good and extremely tough times. When I look at the blue Australian skies, it ll forever remind me of you, beautiful soul, will never forget you. You left this world way to early.

Sue or "Miss Tanner" as we all called her at Healesville High, was a remarkable lady and was always a very positive and influential person. She had the brightest smile and her happy fun personality will live on in anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. I am so sorry that Sue was taken so soon but she made her live full of purpose and meaning and touched many people during her time. I remember when I was in school back in 2009 she had spoken of adoption and how much she would love her own family. I am so glad her wish came true. Rest peacefully Sue and we will see you up there. xxx
