My deepest sympathies to the family of Aunty Theresa -her daughters Monica, Janet & Agnes & their families and to her brother Anthony & sister Anne. May you be consoled in your loss & grief. Aunty Theresa was gentle & soft-spoken with a generous heart. May she rest in peace
Dear Aunty Theresa, enjoy the peace, joy and tranquility of your true home.
Theresa Das is the mother of my primary and secondary school classmate in Singapore, through whom I came to know the entire family. She was a deeply religious woman and very devoted to her family and friends, Her home was always filled with warmth and laughter and many fine meals, a legacy passed on to her daughters and grand-daughters. I have to say she was not above playing a few tricks of her own, often on the unsuspecting Jerome, her grandson, Janet's youngest. It would go like this - "If you don't take your bath NOW, pat aunty is going to be very cross and won't come round to the house anymore" - that always worked! R.I.P. Mum. Love, pat 💙
Dear Aunty Theresa, though you have gone to the Lord to recieve your rewards for life lived in love and service to the Lord. Your lloving care for family friends and community. We will remeber and pray for your soul always.

Dear Janet, Siva and Family, It is with sadness to hear of the passing of your mum. She was a warm and beautiful person who always welcomed us to her home whenever we visited. May your memories of her fill your hearts with happiness during these difficult times and carry you through when times are sad. Condolences on your loss. She is now at peace and in God's loving embrace.
Sending our deepest condolences to Monica, Janet and Mala. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of grief.
Dear Jo, Monica & Mala, My memories of your mum goes back to the University days in Singapore. She was always welcoming, soft spoken and with a smile would put up with some of my antics / conversations. Even after making her way DOWN UNDER, looking after the grand children, her mannerisms and demeanour never seem to age. Yet when the time came to make her way UP to a better, more peaceful place for a well earned ultimate retirement, Aunty Theresa left behind the wonderful and thoughtful memories to the many people she touched, including me. Hope this goes some way in providing comfort to all of you and the extended family of what an extraordinary woman / mum / grandmother was Aunty Theresa.
Dear Ag, Janet & Monica, I am very sorry for your loss. I will always remember your mother for her quiet strength and gentleness.. May perpetual light shine upon Aunty and may she rest in eternal peace in the presence of our Lord.
My memories of Aunty Theresa are of younger days, some 50 years ago, when I used to stay over with Agnes at their home in Libra Drive. She did not say much, but her care and love came through the meals she cooked for us and the space she allowed for us to just be. I remember her kind face so clearly in the kitchen of your home. Thank you, Aunty Theresa. Rest in peace in the arms of Jesus. With deepest condolence to all the family. Love & hugs.
We had the privilege of meeting Aunty when Josephine, Siva and family moved to Melbourne. As everyone has stated, she was always kind and welcoming. A genteel lady, always in the background whose actions spoke louder than her words. May God's eternal light shine on her.

Jo, Siva, Serene, Carmel, Gabriel, Jerome, Monica, Ravi, Vasanthi, Mala & your families (sorry I didn't list all to avoid mispellings)..... I must say that it did break my heart to hear that Aunty was not doing well and then had gone home to the Lord. However, it was my greatest privilege & honour that God together with Jo & her family provided me an opportunity to bide Aunty good bye via the mobile video call. She looked so serene, peaceful and sooo pretty. I've known Aunty as long as I have known Jo and that was in our twenties. Her home was my second home as it was to some others. She is indeed the lovely person that so many had described her to be ... gentle, soft-spoken, caring, having a sense of humour, strong in her quiet ways and most importantly, allowing me and many others to share her daughters with her. She was truly the unassuming mother and aunty in the background who showed her love to the family and us more in actions than in words. I thank God for you Aunty. Am thankful to Jo that she reminded me by saying "I'm sure she is smiling down at you as you know the nickname she had for you was 'Santa Claus'. She really appreciated your caring and generous nature.' Thank you Aunty. The smiles those moments brought to you and the family were precious to me. 😘 Was also reminded by Jo that she would like Aunty's funeral service to be a joyful celebration of her life as Jo had been blessed with a great mum. Her sisters too. Rightfully so. 🙏🙌 Not leaving out the kind, loving and generous amachi she was to her string of grandchildren and their children. A wonderful Aunty to all of us too. Lastly, thank you very much Aunty for giving me a precious gift the last time I visited you in Melbourne. Have been wearing it & will continue to do so in remembrance of you. Till we meet again in heaven....rest in the hands of Our good Lord. We love you Aunty. 💖
Our deepest condolences to Josephine & Siva & family. May Jo’s mum Rest In Peace.
Dearest Josephine and family, What a wonderful experience to be part of the funeral service of your beloved mother and grandmother. I am sad that I could not join you in person but very much value the opportunity to be part of the livestream service. Theresa’s life and faith are a great testimony of her trust in the Lord. What a great encouragement for all of us and especially to you as you will miss her deeply and need her example to bring you comfort and joy. Love, Val and Barbara Kentler
Dearest Cousins Monica, Janet and Mala, I am holding you all in my heart and mind as you say goodbye to your beautiful, sweet and generous mother. I am so sad that she is not physically here on earth, however, I feel in my heart that she is in a loving and peaceful place with the Lord. She was always so loving and generous towards me and all my siblings. She was so open and available to so many members of our families. A huge thank you Theresa Aunty for your kindness, clarity about what is important in our lives and teachings about what it means to be a family. The Alfreds love you. We cherish our memories with and of you. And we will see you again. Lots of love, Rita
Please accept our heartfelt condolences. We are thinking of you all and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
