Live stream your funeral

One of the toughest decisions when arranging a funeral is deciding when to hold the service. Although you want to give everyone the chance to attend, there are unfortunately many reasons why friends and family may be unable to join with you on the funeral day. To give you the chance to share your loved one’s final goodbye, Bethel has partnered with OneRoom to provide a secure and private webcasting option for friends and family who are unable to attend in person.

What is webcasting?

Once the funeral starts, discreetly placed cameras will capture your loved one’s funeral and send it securely to the internet. The service will be available to watch in real-time and is recorded so that it can be viewed later on. All you need to access the service is an internet connection, a device that can display video and the email invitation. For your peace of mind, OneRoom will store the video recording safely with password-protected access to the private online archive so you can share the service with family and friends. You can also revisit the recording after the service is complete.

How webcasting a funeral works

1. Choose your funeral date

We’ll schedule your funeral service in OneRoom to automatically begin webcasting.

2. Invite friends and family

You’ll receive an email invitation with details about how to access the funeral service which can be forwarded to others who are unable to attend.

3. Live stream the funeral

When the service begins, cameras will start streaming so anyone with the invitation can view the funeral.

4. Watch it again

Access the recording through the same email invitation and watch as many times as you like. You even have the option to download the service to your computer so that you can keep a copy for yourself.
